How do you follow the thread of your creativity to find— an innovative idea, whether in a thesis project or entrepreneurship? How do you keep hold of that thread (and your sanity) while in the midst of the operational aspect of producing your concept?
An artist who found myself in the business side of things, I quickly developed the ability to turn my insecurities into momentum. As a guest lecturer or visiting speaker, I enjoy breaking down the process of finding inspiration, time, and equilibrium in order to help others organize and navigate what can feel like chaos. I share my personal experience of balancing dual roles—both creative and directorial—for a burgeoning startup in the textile industry with my own drive as an artist, to help creatives answer the questions: What do you want to make in this world? And how will you make it?
